Day Out With Thomas

In May we went to day out with Thomas, at the Heber Creeper. I don't know how much Gordie appreciated that the train was transformed into Thomas, I'm pretty sure we could have gone up any day to let him ride the train and he would've been just as happy! It was fun though, perfect weather, just a fun day out with just the three of us, I love family outings with just Gordon and Tory, I love my little family!

Gordon had just woken up from a nap on the way up there, but was so excited to see the trains!

They had lots of little booths with different activities, well the first one Gordon wanted to do of course was the mini golf!

He had so much fun playing with the little train sets!

Gord got his very first tattoo!

"Wook mama"

On the train!

I love these boys!

He was a little nervous...

...but he did have fun.

Little Gym

I signed Gordon up for little gym for this whole winter season. He hated it for quite a while, in fact it wasn't really until the last 5 weeks, then he loved it!
He LOVED hanging on the bar!
There were lots of tears in the session!
He got really good at the low beam!

At the end of each class, the instructor did bubbles, all the kids loved this!
"look mommy"
Gordon's instructor, Miss Crystle.

Potty Training? Maybe Not.

So Gordon won't turn 2 for a few more months, but I really wanted him to be potty trained around the age of 2 so I bought an Elmo potty that he loves to sit on naked, but totally doesn't get what he is supposed to do! I don't have too much faith that he'll be using the potty for anything other than a fun seat to watch TV on! My new goal is age 3!

Funny story came out of all this though...So the other day he walked in on me going to the bathroom and he got a big grin on his face, started claping and saying "Yea mommy"!

Cousins and Ants

Izzie, Mia and Gordie, found an ant hill, they all looked so cute squatting down examining and poking at them!

Gordie and Nanni

Gordon absolutely adores Nanni! Nanni could definitely do without him! There are so many times I think "I would just love to get rid of these dogs, but then I see how Gordie's face lights up every time he sees them!

I love watching him carry Nanni around!

Ice Cream in the Car...

So Gordon didn't want to leave Adair's house, and I wasn't in the mood for the fight, so I bribed him with a chocolate creamy! Seemed like a good idea, then I got home and saw the damage...

He wasn't too happy about all the sticky ice cream either. Here he is saying "Ewe sticky!"
I don't know how but he got it all in his hair. Who needs hair gel?
