We had such a fun eventful Thanksgiving holiday! We drove there through the night, I thought "perfect, Gordo will sleep the whole way!" Well, no it didn't exactly go down that way! He slept til about 11pm and was awake and crying til about 1:30am! We stopped a couple times so Tory could sleep but for the most part we just drove the entire night!
Our first stop was Tory's Good friend Mike and Josephina and their adorable daughter Isolina. We showed up at their doorstep at about 8am looking tired and haggard! We stayed at there house Saturday to Sunday, We also got to hang out with Tory's other good friend Jeff and his cute wife Page! It was so fun to see them! They were trying to per sway us to move to AZ and I must say the offer was very tempting in the 78 degree weather!
Our next stop was to my grandpa Ron's house. He and his wife own a cute bed and breakfast in Hereford Arizona. It is so beautiful there! You would never guess you were in Arizona. We arrived at his house Sunday night and we were welcomed by the best spaghetti I have had! I guess my grandpa has been perfecting it for years! So good! He was so cute with Gordon, he gave him this case of golf balls with Disney characters on them! Gordon loved them of course. He said he's been holding on to them for 10 years waiting for the perfect person to give them to, and when little Gordo showed him his mad golf skills, he was impressed and Gordon got the balls!! The next day he took Troy Golfing with him! It was a short stay but very fun!
Our next and final stop in Arizona was to my Grandma Gretchen's house where we would stay from Monday to Friday. It was so fun to her and it has been years now for me and for Tory and Gordon it was the first time they met! We also got to spend Thanksgiving with the cute Krieg Family! We had so much fun, my grandma was great with wild Gordie! She luckily still had all the toys from when Adair was little and Gord loved them! It was a very memorable thanks giving!
On our trip home we stopped in Vegas to stay with my family, they were there for Will's soccer tournament! It was so fun to see Katie it had been forever!

Sick Day!
So I'm pretty sure Gordon was sick with the Swine flu he was around a bunch of kids who had it and then he got really sick! Well...Gordon can't just stay home even when he is sick, he gets restless, so we decided to take little Gordo to a movie! We brought his car seat in to the theater and strapped him in, he loves popcorn which helped! He was awesome for about an hour which I was quite impressed with, after that he needed to run around! We took him to Where the Wild Things Are, I thought it was a kid movie...not so much! It was still cute watching him stare at the screen and mindlessly eating popcorn, he looked like a big kid! We went and saw "where the wild things are" which is not really a kid movie, I was expecting it to be more for him then it endded up being!
Right before the movie started.
Popcorn saved us through most of the movie
...and we're done!

November?
We all went to the zoo the other day Adair, her kids, and Lizzy with the kids she watches. The weather was awesome! I love that we haven't jumped from summer right into below zero! It was the perfect day at the zoo.
Maggie and Gordie with the cute baby elephant
Baby giraffe
Gordon's favorite animals at the zoo were the ducks, how exotic!

Halloween 2009
This Halloween was so fun, Gordon thought it was great getting candy from his grandparents and I held back this day and let him got nuts while first reading the ingredients to make sure there were no nut(We recently found out Gordon has a peanut allergy)!
I had Tory all day, we started off by going to gardener village, I love that place at Halloween! Then we went trick or treating at Grandma Holly's house...Then we met Emmy and the kids at her house for pics before we went to the other grandparents houses...

Out of the whole tray of candy he chooses the butterfinger the only thing with peanuts in it! Dad ate that one and Grandpa Carl let him pick another one he chose a kit kat that mom ate!

Look out Tiger!
I must first say this has not been forced on Gordon, he comes by it naturally I guess! Since he could crawl he has been obsessed with balls, he is even more partial to golf balls, I think it's because they make the best noise on Nana Jan's kitchen tile and going down the hard wood stairs! He watches golf with his dad on TV sometimes and has gone out to the range with him, but no official golf lessons!
Anything that even resembles a golf club he will pick up and whack a golf ball with! He has a plastic set of clubs and a wooden putter that he is rarely without in one hand, and a golf ball in his other! We took him to the practice putting green the other day and he screamed when I picked him up to take him home! He would do it all day if he could! It is the funniest thing ever! Tory is quite proud of his little golfer!

Way To Go Tor!

So Tory finally has found some direction in his life and I am thrilled! He has been struggling with what to do for a career and with his future. He has taken golf very serious the past year and loves it, so why not go pro?
He has talked to my dad about it and he sees huge potential in Tory, so that got him more excited about it! The very first step in become a PGA class A pro you must first pass the players ability test (PAT), before you can even start the 3 year program...on October 22nd he took his PAT. You can shoot 7 over on 36 holes, I knew he could do it on any given day, but I must admit I was unsure if he could hold up to the pressure! Well he did it!!! He shot 4 over on 36 holes, 2 over on the first 18and 2 over on the second 18!!
I am so proud of him and so happy that he has found something he loves! Now, being the daughter of a pro golfer, I know that it is hard to make money in the golf industry, but I would much rather be poor my whole life and have Tory do what he loves then to be rich with a miserable husband! I love Tory so much and am so proud of him for doing this!

Mcgladrey Tournament
This post is a little out of order. The end of August we went down to St. George to see Katie at SUU and also because Katie, Tory, Mikey and my dad were playing in the Mcgladrey tournament! It's a scramble and they did really well taking 5th place!

Happy Birthday MOM!
It was my mom's 49th birthday on October 14th so on the 13th all the girls, minus Katie:(, made her dinner and dessert and decorated her table with Halloween decor! It was a lot of fun! I have the greatest mom ever I love any chance to be able to do something for her!
Almost everyone who was there, missing Tory, Russ and Grandma Annie. My mom has 2 great loves, Halloween and Neat big balloons, so I had to get her that witch balloon, and we had a few scares with loosing it, but it made to my moms safely!

Wee Witches
Costume complements of Nana Jan
I absolutely love Halloween it is my all time favorite Holiday! My mom raised us with this true sincere love for Halloween! She made Halloween so magical every year...decked the house with tons of Halloween decorations, one of my favorite things from my childhood was coming home from school (the end of September) and the house full of spooky decorations! I am trying to pass my wonderful memories on to my little Gordie, I will drag him to as many Halloween activities as I can make it to! It's a month long Holiday, not something you just celebrate on October 31st! Besides you get your moneys worth our of your costume if you go to all the festivities!
Our first Halloween activity was at Gardener Village for the Wee Witches! It was freezing cold and we mostly hung out by the blaring music and watched all the dancing kids, but I loved every minuet of it because like I said I LOVE Halloween and the fall season! It was my mom, Adair and her kids, Amy Mason and her cute little Millie, Gordon and me!
Holland, Gordie, Charlie, Maggie and Millie
Charlie the "Nice Pirate"
Maggie the faerie
My little duck! He has cute little duck feet but he kept tripping over them!
Isn't that the cutest duck face you've ever seen!
