Helping Nana

Gordon really wanted to help Nana peel the potatos for Sunday dinner, he only dropped that one in the garbage about five times!

Brighton Cabin

We had a family dinner up at Brighton cabin to celebrate Rocky's birthday, it was my first time up this summer! I love the Brighton cabin and have so many memories from my childhood there I hope to create the same fun memories for Gordon and Tory!

Maggie and Gordo with the pin wheels! They loved that the wind was making them spin instead of having to blow!

Random June 2010 Pictures and Gordie Updates

Gordon is at such a fun age, he is starting to talk more and has so much energy! All day long I hear "Watch mommy, watch mommy, watch mama" he will say this for everything from hitting the golf ball to putting food in his mouth. Sometimes he will be saying it over and over til I can finally say "OK Gordon what?" He will have to think of some trick to do like just throwing his arms in the air then bringing back down really fast then will say, "Yea Gogo!"

He calls himself Gogo. He is so much like his dad in that he loves to tease and he has this smile that just screams "I'm a stinker"! But he can be so sweet in the next second. He will almost always give kisses to anyone who asks, he still loves golf and any ball to kick or throw! He now will choose to watch sports on TV over cartoons.

When you would ask him what color something is, he would always say, "blue". He is starting to get his colors right now. He always wants pink of anything if it is an option, I don't know what to think about that! Whenever he sees more than one of the same thing he will say "two". He loves the zoo. as soon as we pull in to the parking lot he gets so excited and just shouts "ZOO". Whenever you say "who wants to go to the zoo?" he yells "I DO!" He loves to swing, he loves to ride bikes.

I love this kid! There are many days it's really hard, but oh so worth it!

Gordon Trying ride uncle Will's long board!

Full diapers, create all sorts of problems!

He is way into putting on our shoes he thinks it's the funniest thing!

Uncle Mikey's shoes!

This is how I found Gordon after it seemed too quiet for too long!

I don't know what to say about this! Thanks dad for leaving the light bulbs out!

Grandma Annie is 70!

Yes I stole this pic from Maddie's blog

My grandma just turned 70 but truly doesn't look a day over 60! And doesn't act a day over 20! We did a 5k walk in the morning at wheeler farm, then had dinner at her house. She is such a fun grandma and we all enjoy spending time with her! Thanks Grandma Annie for all that you do for my family and me! Happy birthday! We love you!

The petting zoo at Wheeler Farm. Gordie loved the pigs!

Gordie and Eme.

I love that face!

Cute little Emerson! The happiest, easiest baby ever!

Adair was the biggest trooper, bringing all three kids to the 5k! She is the most amazing mom ever! I those kids so much!

Day Out With Thomas

In May we went to day out with Thomas, at the Heber Creeper. I don't know how much Gordie appreciated that the train was transformed into Thomas, I'm pretty sure we could have gone up any day to let him ride the train and he would've been just as happy! It was fun though, perfect weather, just a fun day out with just the three of us, I love family outings with just Gordon and Tory, I love my little family!

Gordon had just woken up from a nap on the way up there, but was so excited to see the trains!

They had lots of little booths with different activities, well the first one Gordon wanted to do of course was the mini golf!

He had so much fun playing with the little train sets!

Gord got his very first tattoo!

"Wook mama"

On the train!

I love these boys!

He was a little nervous...

Little Gym

I signed Gordon up for little gym for this whole winter season. He hated it for quite a while, in fact it wasn't really until the last 5 weeks, then he loved it!
He LOVED hanging on the bar!
There were lots of tears in the session!
He got really good at the low beam!

At the end of each class, the instructor did bubbles, all the kids loved this!
"look mommy"
Gordon's instructor, Miss Crystle.

Potty Training? Maybe Not.

So Gordon won't turn 2 for a few more months, but I really wanted him to be potty trained around the age of 2 so I bought an Elmo potty that he loves to sit on naked, but totally doesn't get what he is supposed to do! I don't have too much faith that he'll be using the potty for anything other than a fun seat to watch TV on! My new goal is age 3!

Funny story came out of all this though...So the other day he walked in on me going to the bathroom and he got a big grin on his face, started claping and saying "Yea mommy"!

Cousins and Ants

Izzie, Mia and Gordie, found an ant hill, they all looked so cute squatting down examining and poking at them!

Gordie and Nanni

Gordon absolutely adores Nanni! Nanni could definitely do without him! There are so many times I think "I would just love to get rid of these dogs, but then I see how Gordie's face lights up every time he sees them!

I love watching him carry Nanni around!

Ice Cream in the Car...

So Gordon didn't want to leave Adair's house, and I wasn't in the mood for the fight, so I bribed him with a chocolate creamy! Seemed like a good idea, then I got home and saw the damage...

He wasn't too happy about all the sticky ice cream either. Here he is saying "Ewe sticky!"
I don't know how but he got it all in his hair. Who needs hair gel?
