This is the Place 2011

Emmy and I took the kids up to This is the Place State park!

Emmy took her friend's two kids Addie and Asher so we had a total of six kids! They were all really good though!

I know putting Gordon and Henry next to each other, bad idea right?

They were pretty good the whole train ride, I only had to yell at Gordon not to push Henry once!

He loved the pig! That night he was talking in his sleep saying "I want to hold the pig, can I"!

Whenever Gordon holds up the number 2 it's always his pointer and little finger, I don't know where he got it from but it sure looks cool!

Henry's Birthday Party

Henry turned 2 and Emmy did a cute little party at her mom's Henry did not want his hat!

Gordon loved his hat but he also thought it was his birthday too!

My Little Helper

Whenever I clean Gord always wants to help no matter what it is sweeping, vacuuming...I try to let him, but of course it always ends in a bigger mess for me!

So I bought these shoes a few months back and the first time I wore them Gordon said "Mom, those are beautiful, can I wear them when they get smaller?" Ever since then I catch him walking around in them all the time! When we are at church and I am wearing them he wants me to take them off so that he can wear them, and yes there has been a time that I have given in and just let him wear them at church during Sacrament while we are out in the hall!

Should I be worried??

Swimming With Dad

Before we had to take Tory to the airport to go back to Arizona he took Gordon swimming. I don't know who this separation has been harder on Tory or Gordon, They are both so crazy about each other!

First Day of School

We started Gordon in a Spanish immersion school for the summer so that while Tory is gone he wont lose all his Spanish! I was so Happy that Tory was still in town for Katie's wedding so he got to take him with me! Every time I would talk to Gordon about how he will be starting school soon he would just say "Mom don't say that!" So I knew it was going to be a fight and it was! He cried as soon as we walked in the door but he survived and was excited to see us when we picked him up!

The third day of school I had to take him by my self and when we walked in I took him to the bathroom to go potty and while he was sitting on the toilet he looked up at me with a very distressted face and said "Mom, get me out of here!"

One Day They Will be Best Friends...Right?

Henry and Gordon can get along but it is a very "love, hate" relationship! They are constantly fighting and yelling at each other! The other day Gordon was at Emmy's house and Henry had bit Gord pretty bad. I asked Gordon "Did Henry bite you?"

Gordon: "Ya"

Me:"That's not nice to bite is it? We don't bite do we?"

Go:"Nooo, we don't bite!"

Me:"You don't ever bite do you Gordon?"

Go: "No. I hit!"
