So I have been so back and forth about this whole getting rid of the binkie, I have gotten a lot of helpful advise and my final decision was that I would wait, what harm could it do? The truth is I was terrified to take it away, he LOVED his "bee bee" whenever he didn't have it he would just cry out "BEE BEE"! There was no way it would be easy! Well one day I left his binkie at Emmy's house and couldn't find another one, instead of going out and buying more or searching for one I decided "this is it, I'm going to just do it!" The first nap without it was awful, that night was terrible, the next day was bad, and then on the 3rd day, it was like he had never knew his bee bee, he can now even see another kid with a binkie and he's fine! When you ask him "where is your 'bee bee" Gordon" he puts his hands up and says "All gone"! I am actually more proud of myself then I am of him!
